For a romantic honeymoon in Colombia, explore the historical and agricultural depths of Colombia while also taking time to relax and enjoy island luxuries. You will start your romantic journey in Bogota, Colombia’s capital set in the Andes at more than 8,000 feet. Spend your time touring historical neighborhoods and enjoying spectacular views of the city and mountains. Climb below the earth for an unforgettable visit to the Zipaquira’s Underground Salt Cathedral. Enjoy your stay in colonial style accommodations while walking the streets of the town of Barichara. You will take an incredible cable car ride over the Chicamocha Canyon for a taste of the world’s best coffee at Hacienda El Roble.
The next part of your trip will bring you to the romantic town of Cartagena. Experience the colonial era within the historical city streets and with a horse-drawn carriage ride. You will witness the old fortresses around the city while taking in the sunset on a sailboat in the Cartagena bay before leaving for Providencia Island. An intimate excursion isn’t complete without an island getaway. Enjoy special dinners, beach tours, and snorkeling around Providencia’s clear turquoise waters.

This guided visit to the Colombian capital starts in the Plaza de Bolivar (the city's main square), surrounded by federal government buildings, and continues into the old colonial part of the city better known as "La Candelaria” where one will see the San Francisco Church, and the Gold Museum (closed on Mondays). The tour finishes with a trip in a cable car to the top of the Monserrate Hill, which offers a spectacular view of the city. In the evening, drive out at sunset towards the mountains and the secluded village of "La Calera" just on the outskirts of the city.
