Visit the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere
Belize, the only English-speaking country in Central America, is ideally located on the Caribbean coast, between Mexico and Guatemala. It offers an intriguing mix of tropical forests rich with wildlife, majestic mountains, mysterious Maya temples, and fishing and diving experiences. In a single day, go from a tropical forest to the Belize River flowing down the center of the country to the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere. Explore the Cayo District (which contains the national capital of Belmopan) and Ambergris Caye, Belize’s largest island and a diver’s paradise. Include a visit to the Mayan ruins of Tikal, or stay at the luxurious Coppola Resorts.

Belize:
A valid passport is required to travel and should have at least 6 months’ validity after your return home. You should have at least 2 blank pages per country that you are visiting. If your passport does not meet this requirement at the time of departure, you can be denied boarding for your international flight and may consequently incur additional expenses.

Hidden Valley Inn - great place (also remote) - nice staff, Butterfly waterfall (on property is also great) Xanadu - San Pedro (Ambergris) very nice - great staff. Snorkeling was some of the best in the world - I have traveled a lot. When in remote areas or the Zoo - Bug spray is a must. Thank you for your help arranging this trip. Yampu did well !!"
