Visit the Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon
Tour Bhutan, known as the Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon, and whose rulers have followed a national policy of isolationism, helped along by the fact that its central valleys are surrounded on all sides by towering mountains. Due to its remote location, Bhutan’s rich culture remains traditional to its truest sense and its environment has been noted to be extremely healthy and pristine due to the Buddhist philosophy of respect for all living things.Yampu offers tours throughout Bhutan, including the popular destinations of Paro, Thimphu and Punakha.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"I am extremely thankful that when I was having multiple problems trying to establish a travel insurance claim and refund for the money I lost during Covid19.cancellation.the owner of the company stepped in to help me. Jose Irauzqui jumped in to represent me and he was tenacious and he quickly earned the nickname of Bulldog. He was able to get me the refund for myself and a traveling partner. I have traveled with Yampu before to Bhutan and India and was guided by Stephanie Rudolph. I used to joke with my friends that if I could only run my business as well as this company did, I would be a millionaire many times over. The trip was fantastic and I highly recommend this company to all travelers. Thank you, Mary Makena"

"I researched and interviewed over a dozen tour companies to assist with our trip to Bhutan, Nepal, and Tibet. I selected Yampu. I chose well."

" Joyce B. as you know highly recommended your company and you in particular. We are so glad that we followed her recommendation to work with you and your company. This trip to Bhutan and India has been fabulous and beyond our wildest expectations. There have been no mistakes along the way. I am in continual disbelief how well organized every detail has been. No one person has dropped the ball. How do you do this? If I ran my own company half as well as you run this very first class operation, I would be a multi-millionaire. All the guides and drivers have been superb and the itinerary and hotels have also been excellent. Each stop has been varied and unique. Tomorrow we will take the house boat trip. Well words don't really do justice about how we feel about this trip but I wanted to say thank you. "

"Recently I went to Bhutan with Yampu Tours. With multiple flights and visas, this is not the easiest of tours but, as usual, everything went like clockwork. I say, as usual, because this is the third trip with Yampu and I have nothing but praise for their handling of everything. The professionalism, attention to detail, economical prices, keeps me returning to their services when I want to travel. I highly recommend them."
