What Our Clients Are Saying

"We (husband, wife and two children) have been using Yampu Tours for our family vacations since 2015. Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina, South Africa, and Egypt are just a few countries Yampu took us to. As you probably have guessed, we have been extremely satisfied with our experience. The itinerary is always carefully designed and perfectly customized to our family interests / needs. The local guides picked by Yampu are the best. We have encountered more than two dozens of them so far and never had a bad experience. They are all very knowledgeable and reliable and quickly became our friends. Yampu has made travel fun and stress-free. From the moment you arrive at the destination airport to the moment you check in your returning flight, you are 100% taken care of. We have learned to trust Yampu completely, so much so that during the trip, we often woke up in the morning at a foreign hotel, having no idea what will happen during that day, trusting Yampu will take us to amazing place and teach us everything about it. So far, we have not been disappointed."

"We had an amazing three weeks without a glitch. Every transfer took place on time. Our activities were conducted by knowledgeable and pleasant guides. That proved true for the entire 21 days. The is the second time that I have traveled in South America under the wing of Karolina Guilcapi. She was always accurate, price conscious, and patient with our alterations. Since returning from Patagonia, I and my travel companions have recommended Yampu and Karolina multiple time. Put yourself in her hands and travel worry free!"

"Yampu was recommended to me by a friend a couple of years ago and I have been enormously satisfied with the two trips that they planned for me over the past two years. The first was a two week trip to Argentina and Chile, with the highlight being the four days we spent in Patagonia. All of our hotels were terrific and our guides excellent. This January, they planned an 8 day trip to both the wine country and the Atacama Desert for two of us . Again, everything worked beautifully, from our transfers, hotels, etc."

"Our agent Stephanie was the best!!! We were going to several countries in Africa and she made sure our trip was safe, comfortable and loaded with lots of fun. We had trusted tour companies and interesting guides. We always felt we were in good hands. Once one of our connecting flights was late and she already knew it and took care of the issue and us! We have used Stephanie twice now. Once in South America and once in Africa. Our trips were fun and so memorable. Thanks Stephanie."

"Karolina Guilcapi is a pleasure to work with, creative, responsive, a good communicator. Her ideas are a great mix that cover all the major sites and some out-of-the-way spots that few know about. She plans each trip as if it was for her own enjoyment. I consider her an integral part of my agency team."

"We worked with Jose on our Argentina trip and some details got complicated, as the trip had originally been planned by our sister, who could not go at the last moment. Jose spent quite a bit of time with the remaining two sisters (me being one of them), going over plans, answering questions and making some changes. We were always picked up at airports promptly and well taken care of. Guides were good (some incredibly good, such as Virginia in Iguazu Falls and Roberto in Cordoba). We like traveling with Yampu -- we are not with a large group and on our own at times but have guides when we want them."

"I found Yampu Tours online for our trip to Patagonia in February 2019. We were able to design the tour to exactly what we wanted to do during our travels. The cost was less than National Geo and other well-respected travel companies. Karolina, our Yampu agent, did a superb job coordinating our schedule. The guides in Buenos Aires and Santiago were excellent. Abe, our guide in Santiago was in the top three best guides we have ever encountered in our many travels throughout the world. Every detail was carried out perfectly. We will definitely contact Yampu Tours for our future adventures."
