See as much of it as you can
Multicultural Colombia has many influences—Spanish, Indian and African—making for a rich cultural heritage. As the twenty-sixth largest nation in the world, and the fourth largest nation in South America, Colombia almost has too much to offer, from volcanoes and long, white beaches to jungles, national parks and small, walled villages. Our advice is: See as much of it as you can. Our most popular Colombia tours showcase attractions that are sure to appeal to all sorts of travelers, from eco-tourists and adventurers to coffee aficionados.Be in the know before you go
Colombia:
A valid passport is required to travel and should have at least 6 months validity after your return home. You should have at least 2 blank pages per country that you are visiting. If your passport does not meet this requirement at the time of departure, you can be denied boarding for your international flight and may consequently incur additional expenses. You do not need a visa to enter Colombia as a tourist with a US passport. However, we always recommend that you double check this for last minute changes with your local consulate.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a travel alert for countries and territories where Zika virus has been found in Colombia. If you are pregnant or plan to be pregnant, please consult your doctor before traveling to these countries. For up to date information on recommended and required vaccinations and general health travel tips for Colombia please visit the CDC Website, then use the drop down menu to select the countries you are visiting. Please consult with your physician for clarification or concerns regarding recommended or required vaccinations.

"
This is the 7th time we've traveled with Yampu Tours, and it is always a pleasure. This time we went to Colombia - Medellin and Cartagena. The boutique hotels and private guides were first class, and there wasn't a single hitch from the time we were met at the airport arriving to the time they walked us to the front of the line on the way home and got us to the gate. Colombia was a fabulous destination as well, highly recommend. We're a senior but very active couple. Best of all, the cost wasn't any different than what my friends pay for those higher end group tours.

"Buongiorno Wendy, It was my pleasure too working with you, and when I updated Claudia on the progress of our trip I always referred to "my friend Wendy.""

"
We truly appreciate the immediate attention and swift action due to the missed flight connection. It was handled very professionally with lots of communication, so we had no anxiety, and while we missed some sleep since we arrived in San Agustin quite late, we were very pleased not to have to sacrifice any of the planned tour as a result of it. No one can predict this type of travel disruption and your team really came through for us. -
"It was a most memorable trip and we enjoyed every minute of it, thanks to the impeccable Yampu's organization and the great support offered by your local agents. Claudia is feeling much better and thinks it was thoughtful of you to send her some teas."
