Whether on foot or by canoe, visitors have been led by their guides on excursions to discover the most bio-diverse region on the planet. Nineteen spacious suites are featured at this property, three of which present a beautiful view of the lake and lovely family suites for those who’ve brought children for an epic adventure. Uncover the history of the Amazon which was discovered by Spanish conquistadors who left on an expedition from Quito to discover the hidden city of El Dorado, but when a small group of the Spaniards were separated, they came across the river which they followed for hundreds of miles until reaching the Atlantic. Along that journey they encountered fierce native women who they called Amazonians hence the name of the infamous river.
