Tour Overview

While traveling through or over North East Asia, why not make a quick visit to Taiwan with a Taipei Stopover Add-on? Taiwan is a country with thousands of years of history coupling together with a unique blend of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Western influences. With a short and sweet stopover in the country’s capital, Taipei, learn of what this magnificent destination has to offer with its unique culture, traditional and modern architecture, and exquisite cuisine! After being met at the airport and transferring to the selected hotel for the evening, enjoy some free time in the city, relaxing and meandering through the streets of one of the safest cities in the world. The next morning, begin the guided exploration of the capital! Visit all of the highlights of Taipei, including the the National Palace Museum, where visitors will learn of Chinese imperial arts and will witness the famous jade collections. After the tour, travelers will be able to enjoy a lovely farewell meal on their own before the nights rest prior to the next mornings flight out of Taipei. Tour of Taipei

After breakfast, enjoy a tour of Taipei city! Begin at the impressive Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall before heading over to the National Palace Museum, where 5,000 years of Chinese imperial arts and jade collections are exhibited. Next make a stop at Martyrs' Shrine of traditional architecture and watch the change of Honor Guards. Continue on to a local Taiwanese temple, and Taipei Handicraft Center. The remainder of the day will be free to explore independently.
