Designed in traditional Nepali architecture, the resort’s buildings are classic red brick adorned with intricate wood carvings surrounded by beautiful, organic gardens and orchards. On the northern ridge of the Kathmandu Valley, at 2000 m (7,000 ft.), the Resort boasts spectacular views of the majestic Himalayas stretching from Mt. Manasalu in the west to Mt. Everest in the east.
The Fort Resort offers comfortable accommodation with 20 double rooms in the main building including 6 suites and 9 individual cottages. The resort also features a multi-cuisine restaurant featuring organic produce from our own gardens, a well-stocked bar, conference halls and a library.
