This week was started off with the great news that Yampu Tours has won two more World Travel Awards!  To celebrate, this week saw a some beautiful pictures from #YampuTravel trips to South America.  Stretching from Antarctica to the Carribean there are an endless supply of photo opportunities here.

This picture was taken by Yampu president, Jose Irauzqui, while hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.  When the clouds settle in around the peaks here the photographic results are spectacular. We love the simple colors of this photo.

This next picture is taken in Colombia from atop El Peñón de Guatapé.  This 700 foot tall monolith has a spectacular set of 650 stairs up the north side that provide easy access to this unbelievable landscape.

Angel Falls in Venezuela is famous for being the world’s highest single drop waterfall but it can be difficult to capture the spectacular nature of this waterfall.  The way this photograph encapulates the rainbow with the tremendous height is simply breathtaking.

This final picture was taken by Yampu Vice President, Monica Irauzqui (@monicairauzquiexperiences) when visiting El Calafate in Argentina.  The Glacier seen here is the Perito Moreno Glacier which is the only glacier in Patagonia that is still growing.
