Travel in Luxury with a complimentary Royal Treatment in Indonesia
Consisting of over a remarkable 17,000 islands, Indonesia’s varied landscape ranges from beautiful white sand beaches to precariously active volcanoes.
A trip to Indonesia offers thrilling adventures and sun-drenched beaches, both near world-class hotels and resorts providing visitors with the experience of a lifetime. Key islands to visit are of course Bali with its iconic religious sites as well as Komodo National park, home to the famous dragon-like lizard of the same name.
During the month of June, Yampu’s Tour Consultants are offering complementary experiences to those who include Indonesia in their personalized itinerary. Interact with the locals with the choice of visiting a local elementary school, traditional dance lessons, or even dinner with a princess.
Take a look at all the options available below and get in contact with one of Yampu’s travel experts to add your free experiences to your itinerary!
Bali; Tour of a Rural Balinese Village
Full day excursion to Wongaya Gede Village where travelers can meet and engage with Mengesta Elementary School students for a taste of local, rural life in Indonesia.
Begin with a short trek through beautiful rice field’s and terraces, while interacting with locals working at the rice field. After about an hour hike, cross the bamboo bridge and trek up the finish point where a traditional snack and lunch will be waiting with glorious views of rice terraces and the surrounding mountains.
After lunch, visit Batukaru Temple, located at the foot of Mount Batukaru, the second highest peak in Bali after Mount Agung. In the evening, enjoy a fabulous dinner with local people.
Bali; Dinner with a Princess
In the evening of your choice, transfer to the private residence of Princess Malaika, where you will experience a fabulous dinner—an intimate and luxurious experience. Upon arriving, be greeted with a royal welcome with delicate flower petals sprinkled around you with lanterns lit in your honor.
A member of the Balinese Royal Family, Malaika has a colorful personality and is not shy in sharing the secrets of Balinese cuisine (she also owns a restaurant) and her family history. Bali still has kings that govern the island; their role is now mostly symbolic as keepers of tradition and ceremonies. A chance to meet a member of a Balinese Royal family is not something that happens every day.
Bali; Dance Lesson with children at Blahbatuh Village
In the afternoon, drive to Blahbatuh Village to visit one of the many dance studios in the area. Here you will take part in a fun dance lesson from the local children where you will learn how to coordinate your hands, eyes, hip, and feet to follow the sound of the traditional music.
Komodo National Park; Sunset Dinner Cruise
Departing from Labuan Bajo, enjoy a glorious sunset cruise aboard a traditional Phinisi boat. As the sun sets over the ocean, enjoy a delicious dinner to end the evening.
