Tour Overview
This Ultimate Brazil Vacation includes a rich cultural experience with three days in Rio de Janeiro to visit Sugar Loaf and Corcovado Mountain with a samba show and dinner. We then travel to the magnificent Iguazu Falls to explore this natural wonder from both the Brazil and Argentina sides. Leaving Iguazu, we will fly to Salvador da Bahia, once the capital of Brazil, today a hotspot for cuisine and culture. Trip ends the city of Manaus in the Amazon Rainforest. We will stay at the Anavilhanas Jungle Lodge, a small and charming hotel that brings together nature and comfort in a subtle and harmonious way.

After settling in, enjoy a tour of Corcovado with a private driver and guide. The tour begins in Cosme Velho's neighborhood. The cog train rolls through the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, and up to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Once there, enjoy a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio, including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon. At the peak of the hill is the art deco statue of Jesus Christ, and icon of Rio. After the visit of the Corcovado, the tour continues to the Sao Conrado area with a brief stop at Pepino beach where you can appreciate the hang gliders overhead. This tour begins with a stroll through downtown Rio, passing by the Sambodrome, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Get to know the traditional Cinelandia square with the historical buildings, the Municipal Theater, the National Library and the National Museum of Fine Arts. By taking the Aterro do Flamengo, you will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca where you will find one of the largest symbols of the city: The Sugar Loaf. This visit is made in two steps by cable car. The first cable car takes passengers to Urca Hill which provides a beautiful view of the Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niteroi bridge and Corcovado hill. From this stage, a second cable car will be taken up to the top to find a splendid view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niteroi.

After arrival, you will take a descending trail of the canyon from where you can enjoy panoramic views of more than 240 falls. Board a glass elevator, which takes you to a platform where more exquisite views will be revealed. Along with its "sister" park in Argentina, The Iguassu National Park forms the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern cone of South America, which along with the waterfalls have been declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. This morning you will enjoy a guided tour to the Argentinean side of the waterfalls. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer to the visitor center inside Iguazu National Park. To get from the visitor center at the beginning of Upper Path, you will board a train that runs from the center to the paths throughout the park at Lower Path and Devil's Throat. You may walk from the visitor center to upper and lower paths, but not to Devil's Throat because it is located more than 4 kilometers from the visitor center.
Then, embark on the Great Adventure tour. This tour combines a jungle trip with a boat trip to the falls. Our journey starts in the jungle of the National Park in 4 by 4 trucks without roof for optimal visibility of the trees and to take the best possible photos. Then we take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River and travel upstream to discover the falls. Be prepared to get wet under the falls! In the afternoon, return to your hotel.

At the appropriate time, you will be met at your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Manaus.
Upon arrival, enjoy a private transfer from Manaus airport to the capital of the Brazilian Amazon, and the central point for all excursions into the Amazon jungle. We will stop at our hotel and we will have free time to rest or take an optional tour to visit the Amazon Theatre, the Market and the Port of Manaus.
After being met at the hotel, our first stop is the Opera House (Teatro Amazonas) that opened in 1896, one of the more popular attractions of Manaus. Wandering through the Opera House we will enjoy the grandiose of the building, and its rich decor and art work. Leaving the Opera House, we pause in front of Palacio Rio Negro, a beautiful example of the architecture prevalent during the golden period when rubber created many riches for the area (1809 to 1910). We continue on to visit the Museu do Índio where we will explore the traditions, customs, and habits of the indigenous populations of the high Negro River. Before returning to our hotel, we will visit the Municipal Market Adolpho Lisboa.
