The Pazo de Sedor is a 17th-century building founded by Francisco Gonzalez do Vilar, who also called himself Francisco Pita da Veiga, a Fonseca schoolboy, Lawyer of the Royal Audience of the Kingdom of Galicia and War Prosecutor of this Kingdom. Built in ashlars with glued faces the hotel’s floor plan is designed in an “L” shape with a roof topped by a large baroque fireplace. Inside, the wide main staircase stands out for its originality as well as the old kitchen or “lareira” with a huge fireplace and two ovens on both sides of it. The upper floor contains the rooms, all doubles and with bathroom and some with balcony.
