Upon touching down in Portugal, the tour leads travelers to the hills of the Serra de Sintra, famed for its whimsical palaces. Get to know this beautiful aristocracy town, where the Portuguese Royalty had their residence and take in the Palácio Nacional da Pena with its vibrant yellow exterior and The Castelo dos Mouros which offers terrific views of the region. On the way to Lisbon, the tour continues along the coastline on the way to Sintra to enjoy the beautiful landscapes while visiting the medieval cities of Cascais & Estoril.
Once in the capital, visitors will take in the most emblematic sites of Lisbon during a private walking tour, utilizing the iconic yellow trams to take advantage of the day before hopping a high-speed train to Porto in the north. While in the coastal city of Porto, visitors will take part in a privately guided walking tour along the labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets, passing ornate houses, stately bridges, and quaint cafes. Stephanie, Patsy and I want to thank you for a wonderful trip. It could not have been better. Everyone involved from drivers, guides, hotel staff, Etc. were over the top. The Aqua was an excellent choice. Yampu tours was there every step of the way. You should take pride in the efficiency, courtesy, and detail with which every portion of our trip was handled. P.S.
