After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the sanatorium fell into decay. The historic building begins to fall apart, the experienced staff was left without work, and only thanks to the investment of a private entrepreneur, the resort received a new life. Only the fortress itself was restored, but also a major overhaul was carried out inside the building itself. And now, this is a 4- star hotel – a sanatorium that meets all international standards. Great for both individual and family holidays. The hotel has 164 comfortable rooms, ranging from standard single to presidential. The rooms are divided into categories with and without views, with and without balconies. The building, distinguished by its architecture, looks like a fortress. The hotel combines historical heritage with modernity. You are offered comfortable conditions for a pleasant stay. In 2014, the second building was added to the historical part, and in 2015 the third building was added. On the roof there is a unique restaurant overlooking the Borjomi Gorge.
