With the news of Australia uplifting their travel restrictions, vaccinated Yampu Travelers can now finally experience Australia with an endless array of adventures without the need to quarantine. Take a look at some of the details on Australia’s new entry requirements below!
Australia Entry Requirments and Safety Protocols
Travelers who are fully vaccinated with a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved vaccine, will not have to quarantine on arrival.
By way of a quick summary of the current requirements in addition to the vaccination requirements, further details of which are available on the Department of House Affairs website here:
- All international travelers are required to complete an Australia Travel Declaration before traveling to Australia.
- All international travelers are required to provide evidence of a negative COVID test. This can either be a PCR test taken within 3 days of departure to Australia, or evidence of a supervised rapid Antigen test take within 24 hours of departure to Australia
- On arrival into Australia, if arriving directly into New South Wales, Queensland or Victoria, international travelers must undertake a rapid antigen test within 24 hours of arrival and self isolate until a negative result is received. If arriving directly into South Australia, you must take a PCR test within 24 hours and self-isolate until a negative result is received. If arriving directly into Western Australia, international travelers are required to undertake 14 days of quarantine currently.
- Once in Australia, further testing is not generally required to cross state borders at this time but we do highly recommend referral to the latest advice for more details.

Sydney, Uluru, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs, Darwin, Mary River and Cairns
Experience the beauty and mystery of Australia’s Outback as you wander through the ancient landscapes of Kings Canyon and Alice Springs. Head back to the east coast aboard the scenic Ghan Train to Darwin. From there, spend time exploring Mary River with its diverse fauna such as crocodiles, buffalo, and wild horses.
