Namibia, the only country in the world to specifically address environmental protection in its constitution, is a very popular eco-tourism attraction because of its distinct landscapes and wildlife conservancies.

Namibia:
A valid passport is required to travel. It should be machine readable and have at least 6 months’ validity after your return home. You should have at least 6 blank pages per country that you are visiting. If your passport does not meet this requirement at the time of departure, you can be denied boarding for your international flight and may consequently incur additional expenses.
A visa is required from all visitors except nationals of countries with which Namibia has the necessary visa abolition agreement. Tourists are welcome to remain in the country for a period of 90 days. Bearers of U.S. passports who plan to visit Namibia for tourism for less than 90 days can obtain visas at the port of entry and do not need visas prior to entering the country. Visitors to or from Namibia via South Africa are encouraged to have six or more empty visa pages in their passport. Visitors who do not have enough blank visa pages in their passport risk being denied entry in South Africa or in Namibia. The U.S. State Department strongly recommends that all minors that will not be traveling with both parents carry a notarized letter of authorization from the non-traveling parent authorizing travel abroad. Letter should include details like dates of travel, children’s names and dates of birth and will be traveling with them. When a parent is deceased, a notarized copy of the death certificate is required.
If you travel to a country at risk (does not include the US) within 6 months before arrival to Namibia, you are required to present an International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever.
