The Emerald Isle
Ask any Irishman what the most beautiful country in the world is, and you will get strong assertions of their homeland of Ireland being more than deserving of such a title with many examples on hand. Beauty stretches from the dramatic Cliffs of Moher on the Atlantic coast to the historic capital of Dublin just off the Irish Sea, to the southern county of Cork with its famed blarney stone to the United Kingdom in the north. Ireland is a country filled to the brim with pride in culture, history, and undisputed charm. Learn how to pour the perfect pint of the famed ‘black stuff’ at the Guinness Storehouse and savor delicious corned beef in Dublin. After time in the city, experience the volcanic formations of Giant’s Causeway and the stark cliffs of Moher. Along the way, learn of the island’s strong Celtic heritage and history from the iron age to the great potato famine and maybe even learn to speak a little Gaelic.
