Indonesia:
A valid passport is required to travel and should have at least 6 months’ validity after your return home. You should have at least 2 blank pages per country that you are visiting. If your passport does not meet this requirement at the time of departure, you can be denied boarding for your international flight and may consequently incur additional expenses.
Recently, in 2016, Indonesia has granted a Visa Exemption for many countries including the US and Canada. Under the new regulation, free permits for citizens from the US, Canada & UK will be given for a 30-day stay in Indonesia, which cannot be extended or converted into any other type of visa.The new regulation stipulates that only immigration units located at five airports and nine ports are allowed to issue visa exemptions. The five international airports through which citizens of the US Canada & UK can enter Indonesia visa-free are Soekarno-Hatta in Jakarta, Ngurah Rai in Bali, Kuala Namu in Medan, Juanda in Surabaya and Hang Nadim in Batam. Sri Bintan, Bandar Seri Udana Lobam and Bandar Bentan Telani Lagoi seaports in Bintan Island, Sekupang, Citra Tri Tunas (Harbour Bay), Marina Teluk Senimba, Nongsa Terminal Bahari and Batam Center ports in Batam, Tanjung Balai Karimun port in Riau Island will also provide the facility.
