Be in the know before you go
Vietnam :
A valid passport is required to travel. It should be machine readable and have at least 6 months’ validity after your return home. You should have at least 2 blank pages per country that you are visiting. If your passport does not meet this requirement at the time of departure, you can be denied boarding for your international flight and may consequently incur additional expenses.
Entry visa is required for US and Canadian citizens. Yampu can arrange on your behalf to issue a visa approval letter from the Vietnam Immigration Department in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh (Saigon). After Yampu obtains the approval, we will forward you a copy of the letter. Copies of the same documents will be forwarded on your behalf to the Vietnam immigration checkpoints at the Airport, so that when you arrive in Vietnam, the Immigration officers will have those documents on hand and will be able to issue your entry visa expediently. Visa fee must be paid on arrival; amount will depend on the country of citizenship. Must bring a hard copy of this visa approval letter, 2 passport-sized photos and cash to pay for the visa fee.
