Looking for Adventures in Bali? This tour is a great way for adventurers to take on Indonesia. With Yampu, adventurous travelers can visit the ends of this gorgeous island and explore this island’s unique terrain. Take on numerous adventures; from biking along country roads and passing rice terraces, to exploring caves crawling with bats and rafting along rapids, the amount of excitement is never-ending!
After landing in Bali, take to the center island to be treated to passing scenes of Balinese villages, rice paddies, the unspoiled fields surrounding Mount Batukaru, and inland island forests. Visit a traditional farmhouse, hot mineral springs, tropical gardens filled with fragrant spices, and an ancient quarry where stones are still cut using traditional methods to build shrines and temples. Stop by Carang Sari for a 2-hour cycling adventure! Cover approximately 17 kilometers, passing through untouched rice terraces and villages dotted with traditional houses and temples. Pass through Sangeh, a monkey forest where visitors can meet the friendly natives.
Stroll through Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple of Mengwi, a very impressive temple and Bali’s most sacred. From there, continue to Bedugul, a pleasant mountain village on Lake Bratan, and visit its botanical gardens and fresh market. After visiting several other temples, end the day with a visit to Tanah Lot Temple! Bali’s most photographed temple is perched on a little rocky islet that is inaccessible during high tides. After a transfer to central Bali, witness numerous beautiful gorges, valleys and untamed rivers. Rafting is one of Bali’s most popular adventure activities, where one can enjoy the scenery on the quiet stretches of the river, as well as some exhilarating white-water rapids!
Continue on to visit Ubud and the surrounding area. Make friends with the healthy population of Macaques with a short visit to the Monkey Forest. On the way to the Elephant Cave, “Goa Gajah.” Next go to Batuan Village, which is home to many artistic painters, and then to the woodcarving villages of Mas and Kemenuh. Afterwards, visit the silver-making village, Celuk.
Early in the morning take on Mount Batur, considered to be one of the most dramatic and accessible live volcanos on earth. At 1717 meters above the sea level, Mount Batur is Bali’s second most sacred mountain after Mount Agung. On the crest, enjoy the incredible view of the sun rising from behind the mighty Mount Agung. Meanwhile, sample a unique breakfast! Using the natural steam from the hot volcano, enjoy hardboiled eggs and hot beverages.
On the final morning, depart for “Goa Lawah” or Bats Cave. The roof of this cave, which is believed to be connected to the sacred Mount Agung, is covered by thousands of bats. Finish the day on the slopes of Mount Agung, Bali’s largest volcano, with an extensive tour of the 8th century Besakih Temple, the “Mother Temple” of Bali and the most sacred to all Balinese. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant with a beautiful rice terrace and valley view.

Meet the guide at the port and drive towards the center island to be treated to passing scenes of Balinese villages, rice paddies, the unspoiled (and often muddy) fields surrounding Mount Batukaru, and inland island forests. There will be frequent stops throughout the day, including visits to a traditional farmhouse, a hot mineral spring, tropical gardens filled with fragrant spices, and an ancient quarry where stones are still cut using traditional methods to build shrines and temples. At midday, stop at a bamboo restaurant located in the middle of a tranquil rainforest. Enjoy a traditional Balinese lunch in this relaxing setting and cap off the meal with a locally-grown mountain coffee with cognac before returning the hotel.

This morning, be picked up from the hotel lobby between 7:30am and 8:00am and transferred to Carang Sari (for an approximately 90-minute drive). This traditional Balinese Village is located in the Tabanan regency, in the island's interior. Upon arrival, relax with morning tea in the tranquil local surroundings. The cycling guides will provide a safety briefing, describe the route, and demonstrate how to use the bike's gears and brakes. Then set off on this 2-hour cycling adventure.
Cover approximately 17 kilometers with several stops along the way. Cruise through untouched rice terraces and villages dotted with traditional houses and temples.
