Tour Overview
Take an Andean adventure with the Ultimate Peru Vacation package. This highlight tour will guide you to the diverse landscapes and cultures that make Peru both beautiful and unique. Take a tour of historic Lima, the capital of Peru, including the Colonial city center. A short flight from Lima brings you to Arequipa, Peru’s second-largest city. Here, you can step inside the Catalina Convent, a 16th-century monastery. From here, you will visit the breathtaking Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world, where you can marvel at the soaring Andean Condors.
From Colca, you will take a bus to Lake Titicaca and visit the famous floating islands of Uros and the island of Taquile, known for its pre-Inca and Inca ruins and terraces. Bring home memoirs of the markets, including colorful woven textiles, from the markets in Cusco. Set foot in the magical Incan citadel, Machu Picchu, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in centuries-old ruins.
Recently, following UNESCO recommendations, Peruvian authorities have placed restrictions on the visitation of Machu Picchu, the lost Incan ruins. Currently, no more than 2,500 people daily will be allowed to visit the ruins. While these new restrictions are great for the preservation of the ruins, they may cause some difficulties in your ability to visit them, so we recommend booking with plenty of notice.

This morning, transfer to the port to take a boat ride over beautiful Lake Titicaca. Vistadome Train to Machu Picchu With Private Guided Tour of the Ruins
The train will take you through the Sacred Valley of the Incas up to the town of Aguas Calientes. From here, you will board a bus to Machu Picchu and then have a private guided tour of the ruins. Machu Picchu, the Lost City of the Incas, was a flourishing ceremonial and agricultural site, probably the gateway to the jungle marshes of the Inca Empire. The central buildings were erected with the polished stone works of the Cusco Imperial style, though the site was probably occupied well before the Incas started their expansion. It was associated with the earth cult revolving around the coca leaf, which was a privilege of the Inca royal family and priests. Enjoy lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge, at the entrance of the ruins, before returning to your hotel at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy a wonderful dinner at the hotel or in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Pre-departure: You have done a very good job of putting things together. You and your company have been worth the extra money. It certainly has made my life easier getting ready.Post-trip: The overall trip was excellent. I would highly recommend Wendy Murray and Yampu. I will always turn to this Agency as they are highly trained and always there, regardless of the time or where in the world I am. They fix things however small and do it very quickly. Yampu is also very respected among the different hotels and restaurants. Peru is truly a hidden secret. The trip was as wonderful as I could expect. The agency did a beautiful job putting the trip together. They took care of us the entire way. They were more than worth the money they charge for their services. Thanks millions,

I was extremely happy
I just wanted to write you a quick note to let you know what a great asset Stephanie is to your team. I have been trying to coordinate a trip to Peru since February and I was not able to get what I wanted through all the agencies that I contacted. Somehow I came across with the name of Yampu Tours and after doing some research about the company, I decided to give it a try. From the first moment I spoke with Stephanie, I had a feeling that she was the solution to my puzzle. In less than 24 hours, she had the itinerary with the budget that I needed. I was extremely happy and waiting to give my husband the good news that night, unfortunately, the same day when my husband came home he advised me that the doctor called him with the test results showing some non-life threatening, but issues that had to be dealt with before travel, and he would not be able to go to Peru until next year. Again, I contacted Stephanie and she was just as helpful as when I called her the first time. I cannot compliment Stephanie enough. She has excellent customer service, knowledge of the business and patience. She is always in a good mood and you can tell that no matter how many questions you have, she will be there to help you without feeling that you are bothering her. If all your employees are the same, then you have a special niche that the industry lacks. From experience, I find that a lot of the travel agencies that I contacted, the employees lacked the knowledge, the patience and the excellent customer service. Again, congratulations for hiring such a great asset to your team.
