Enjoy and Argentina Wildlife Vacation Into the Tropics. Witness native nocturnal wildlife emerge on a night-viewing tour at Yacutinga Lodge. During the day, watch for native wildlife as you float along the gentle current of the San Francisco River. The grandeur of Iguazu falls defy words as 553 cubic feet of water per second thunders down a 269 feet fall in a beautiful tropical location. We will spend two days near the falls at the Yacutinga Lodge and Wildlife Nature Reserve allowing the opportunity to see the regional flora and fauna.
Spend three days enjoying Buenos Aires, the cultural heart of Argentina, which showcases an incredible fusion of European influence and South American charisma. There, you can watch some of the city’s most talented tango dancers perform the intricate footwork of this famous dance. Don’t miss a glimpse into gaucho culture with a folklore and gaucho show paired with a traditional asado: a delicious barbecue meal.

In this tour, acquire a deep understanding of its characteristics, its history, its architecture, its culture and its best stories. Visit the center of the city, San Telmo, La Boca, Puerto Madero and Palermo, with stops in Plaza de Mayo, Caminito and La Recoleta.
Note: check-in is normally after 2 pm. Early check-in may be granted subject to availability (not confirmed). Also, tour is done on group basis and may involve wait times picking up other passengers at different hotels. At night, see an unforgettable tango show performed by the best dancers and singers while enjoying a delicious meal at Esquina Carlos Gardel. This world-famous tango show features the glamour of the 1930s in a romantic and intimate setting. This is the perfect way to leave Buenos Aires, the city of tango. Three-course dinner and Argentinean wine included.
Note: There are several venues in the city, each offering something unique. Yampu includes the El Querandi or Esquina Carlos Gardel in the 3 and 4 star option with shared transfers, and the Rojo Tango or Gala Tango for the 5 star and deluxe options with private transfers. Estimated pick up time from the hotel is between 7:30 and 8:30 pm; dinner is served between 8:30 pm and 10:15 and tango show starts around 10:15 pm until 11:30 pm. Morning guided tour to the Argentinean side of the waterfalls. Pick-up at the hotel and transfer to visitor center inside Iguazu National Park. To get from the visitor center to the beginning of upper path, lower path and Devil’s Throat, board a little train that runs from the visitor center to the paths and between each one of them. One may also walk from the visitor center to upper and lower paths, but one cannot walk to Devil’s Throat because it is located more than 4 kilometers from the visitor center.
Great Adventure: This tour combines a jungle trip with a boat trip to the falls. Trip starts in the jungle of the National Park in 4 by 4 trucks without roof for best visibility of the trees and to take good photos. Then, take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River upstream to discover the falls little by little with a panoramic view of the Iguazu Falls. Be prepared to get wet under the falls! Afternoon return to the hotel.

Afternoon transfer to Puerto Iguazu. Go through the Argentine Provincial Urugua-I State Park toward the extreme northeast corner of the country and switch to a 4 x 4 truck and continue for 3 kilometers toward the shore of the Iguazu River. If the weather allows, navigate in motorboats through these waters for about 45 minutes up to Yacutinga Port. Upon arrival, be transferred by jeep through the Yacutinga Wildlife Nature Reserve to the lodge. Check-in and briefing about the lodge, the system of the lodge and the activities. After an early breakfast and short hike to the San Francisco River, float through quiet waters, ideal for a photo safari. This floating tour is very secure; the water of the river is gentle and it goes with the current. There is a chance to observe wild fauna through this gallery forest from a very close distance, since fauna is more active in the early morning. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon escorted wildlife excursions to the various interpretation trails. In the early evening, visit of one of the observation towers for night games with scopes, binoculars and strong spotlights. Return to the lodge for dinner. Lunch and dinner included.
