Tour Overview
Combine two of Brazil’s most cultural destinations with tranquil beaches and the amazing natural wonder of Iguazu Falls with Yampu’s Buzzing Brazil Highlights Tour to Rio, Iguazu and Salvador. This tour begins in Brazil visiting Sugar Loaf, Christ the Redeemer (a Wonder of the World), Corcovado Mountain, and an evening at a traditional Samba Show. Leaving Rio, travel to Brazil’s boarder with Argentina and enjoy Iguazu Falls, a large cascade of 275 waterfalls and one of the world’s natural wonders. This trip finishes on the beaches of Salvador de Bahia, once the capital of Brazil with a tour of the city’s amazing architecture.
Yampu travelers will visit the Iguazu Falls from both sides, as each side offers something special. From the Brazil side, enjoy a panoramic view, and from Argentina an exploration by zodiac boat on the lower Iguazu River allows for an up-close appreciation. In Salvador the recent restoration of the city will allow you to witness the heritage and architectural splendor of the city with 365 churches and winding cobblestone streets.

After settling in, enjoy a tour of Corcovado with a private driver and guide. The tour begins in Cosme Velho's neighborhood. The cog train rolls through the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, and up to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. Once there, enjoy a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio, including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon. At the peak of the hill is the art deco statue of Jesus Christ, and icon of Rio. This morning you will enjoy a guided tour to the Argentinean side of the waterfalls. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer to the visitor center inside Iguazu National Park. To get from the visitor center at the beginning of Upper Path, you will board a train that runs from the center to the paths throughout the park at Lower Path and Devil's Throat. You may walk from the visitor center to upper and lower paths, but not to Devil's Throat because it is located more than 4 kilometers from the visitor center.
Then, embark on the Great Adventure tour. This tour combines a jungle trip with a boat trip to the falls. Our journey starts in the jungle of the National Park in 4 by 4 trucks without roof for optimal visibility of the trees and to take the best possible photos. Then we take a zodiac boat to the lower Iguazu River and travel upstream to discover the falls. Be prepared to get wet under the falls! In the afternoon, return to your hotel.
