Tour Overview
Explore two of Canada’s most breath-taking national parks, Jasper and Banff on a Canadian Rockies Exploration by Rail in Yampu style.
Starting in Canada’s first national park, the tour takes explorers through the pristine landscape of Banff on a wildlife discovery tour to enjoy the stunning scenery and watch wildlife alongside a small group of nature lovers. After taking in nature’s beauty and learning of the history of the region with a visit to an abandoned mining town, the tour continues on to Jasper, the largest National Park in the Canadian Rockies.
While in Jasper, explorers will enjoy the park’s vast wilderness, teeming with nearly all sizes of wildlife, from foxes to moose. The tour also takes adventurers through Jasper’s natural hot springs and glaciers of the Columbia Icefield, along with the region’s crystal-clear lakes and waterfalls before boarding a luxury sleeper train to Vancouver.
The train to Vancouver is an experience in itself with high-class accommodations, superb meals and impeccable service in the luxury and comfort of superbly refurbished Art Deco rail cars from the 1950s. During the journey, admire the spectacular scenery of the Rockies from your armchair with wraparound windows for ample viewing.
The tour is then capped off with two days in Vancouver, one of the largest and densest cities in Canada for a beautiful contrast of nature and urban experiences.

Best customer care & itineraries
I am recently returned from my third trip organised by Yampu, this time to Costa Rica. As always, it was fabulous from start to finish!
I do look around initially when planning my holidays but each time Karolina offers the best customer care & arranges by far the best itineraries. Value for money is excellent & they keep in constant contact before during & afterwards to make sure everything is going well.
The standard of accommodation & guides they use is superb & they actually listen to your requests as opposed to copying a generic page from their website…. Do I highly recommend Karolina & Yampu? YES! Will I use them again? YES! Save time & effort & just use Yampu is my travel tip 🙂

Dealing with Yampu makes me feel like I’m dealing with friends and that’s special
I want to send the attached to you with our heartfelt thanks for all you both did to make our trip to Vietnam and Cambodia the incredible adventure that it was. We have dealt with Yampu (Kontiki) since 2005 and in three trips have not had a moment that has not been wonderful. Jose you have built a company that is second to none in travel and that now appears to be just about anywhere in the world. Your coordination and expertise is unrivaled. The letter I have attached is a quick overview of our thoughts on our Vietnam trip. Feel free to use any or all of it on your website. I have also included a few photos. You continue to amaze and please me. If we can swing anyone your way, we certainly will. Dealing with Yampu makes me feel like I’m dealing with friends and that’s special. Vermont is not that far from Ontario. Karen and I may take a road trip there sometime. If we do we’ll let you know. We’d love to visit you. Warmest Wishes
