Full-day excursion to an estancia for a typical barbecue lunch and a folklore/gaucho show. Here, learn about the customs of the Argentinean gaucho and his abilities on the horse that will leave eveyone breathless. The meat will be cooked “a lo gaucho,” outdoors on the barbecue. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, transfer to Tierra del Fuego National Park, located only 12 kilometers (7 miles) away from the city. It preserves typical species of the Andean-Patagonic Forest, such as firebushes, beech trees, nires, box-leafed barberries and flowers, spread over an area of 63,000 hectares. Before entering the park, board the Train to the End of the World and enjoy an unforgettable trip along the original embankment where the old prisoners’ train ran until 1947 for their expeditions in search of wood for heating. The highlight of the park is Lapataia Bay, the southernmost tip of the continent, with a wonderful view of Beagle Channel. Here, the old inhabitants of the area have left their testimony in the “concheros,” incredible archaeological deposits.

Afternoon, transfer to the port to embark on the Stella. Board the M/V Stella Australis cruise ship at 5:30 pm. After a welcoming cocktail reception hosted by the Captain and his crew, the M/V Stella Australis will depart for one of the remotest parts of the planet. The voyage will take Yampu travelers through the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel to explore one of the most breathtaking wilderness regions in the world: Southern Patagonia, which includes the Tierra del Fuego archipelago.

Sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay to reach Cape Horn National Park, where, weather permitting, travelers shall go ashore. The legendary Cape Horn was discovered in 1616 and is a sheer 425-meter (1,394-foot) high rocky promontory. For many years it was an important navigation route between the Pacific and the Atlantic, and is referred to as the 'End of the Earth'. The park was declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005.

In the afternoon, head ashore to the historic Wulaia Bay, originally the site of one of the region's largest Yamana aboriginal settlements. Charles Darwin landed there in 1833 during his voyage on the HMS Beagle. This area is also renowned for the mesmerizing beauty of its vegetation and geography. Sail through Brecknock, Ocasion, Cockburn, and Magdalena Channels to enter the spectacular De Agostini Sound, in the heart of the Darwin Mountain Range. Witness massive glaciers sliding down the mountainside all the way to the sea. In the afternoon, in well-equipped Zodiac boats, travel to the Aguila Glacier to embark upon an easy walk to its base. It's the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of Patagonia's cold rain forest and to see how the power of nature has molded the spectacular landscape.

Early in the morning, weather permitting, head ashore on Magdalena Island, located in the middle of the Strait of Magellan. The island used to be an essential source of supplies for navigators and explorers and is inhabited by an immense colony of Magellan Penguins that can be seen during the walk to the lighthouse.
In September and April, this excursion is replaced by a ride aboard Zodiacs to Marta Island to observe South American Sea Lions. Finally, disembark at Punta Arenas at 11:30 am. Afterwards, take a transfer from the pier to the airport.

Reception at the airport and transfer to the all-inclusive Torres del Paine hotel. Upon arrival, meet with the guide to go over the program preferences for the following days. Settle in and spend the remainder of the evening at leisure to enjoy dinner with a lovely house wine.

After breakfast spend the morning at leisure. Shared transfer to Punta Arenas airport to take a flight to Santiago. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Note: Transfer times out will be specific to each accommodation.

This morning, be met at the hotel and transferred to the Casablanca Valley, approximately 50-miles (80-kilometers) from Santiago. The Casablanca Valley is one of Chile’s most important regions for cultivating the grapes that produce crisp white wines, most notably Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Here one will be able to enjoy a tour, tasting and lunch at one of the local wineries situated along this thriving wine route.
After lunch, leaving the Casablanca Valley, visit Valparaiso, the oldest and most important port in Chile. Here there will be an opportunity to walk along the city’s winding streets and enjoy the scenery and culture of this charming port-city. Continue to Vina del Mar, a resort city that was founded in 1874, famous for its beautiful gardens and flower clock. Late in the afternoon return to the hotel in Santiago. Lunch is included today.

This afternoon, enjoy a private city tour of Santiago. The tour begins at the Funicular de Santiago (Gondola), which provides a stunning and panoramic view over the city from the top of San Cristobal Hill. Travel to the heart of the city and Plaza de Armas the spot from where the city has grown throughout the centuries. Each Latin city has a plaza de Armas as when cities were founded the center was also where the armory and military base was established - hence the name Plaza de Armas (Plaza of Arms). Visit some of the more important buildings such as the Cathedral, the City Council, the Central Post Office and the National Historical Museum.
Continue to the Presidential Palace La Moneda; the current seat of the government. Wander the streets that were once elegant at the beginning of the 19th century and now are a commercial center. Visit some the original colonial neighborhoods such as Concha y Toro Square. Characterized by its cobbled streets and old mansions that reflect the elegance and richness of the early twentieth century the neighborhood grew to prominence between 1870 and 1876 with the influx of wealth as a result of mining and the discovery of Silver. Many Chileans achieved great wealth, including Enrique Concha y Toro founder of the famed winery.
