Cruise Overview
One of the most luxurious yachts cruising in the Galapagos, the Isabela II combines elegance and relaxation to help you make the most of your Island experience. The motor yacht is fully air-conditioned; all cabins are spacious and have private bathrooms. Its three public decks offer the amenities of a larger vessel, including bar-salon, dining room and sun deck. The library contains a large selection of reference books on Galapagos and Ecuador, as well as excellent nature and conservation videos, making this reference library the most complete source of information of any Galapagos vessel.
The sun deck is comprised of a bar with ample outdoor seating, an observation area for whale and dolphin watching, a Jacuzzi and solarium. As an alternative to snorkeling, the glass-bottom boat offers another opportunity to observe the Galapagos rich marine life. Expedition Team consists of three Naturalist Guides class III.
Yampu only offers the Isabela II only as an add-on to our highlight packages. If booking alone, booking fee may apply.
Inclusions
Local airport taxes that are payable in the country of destination are not included. Taxes and security fees that can be paid at time of ticketing are already included in the quote. The $10 Transit Control Card is not included.
Please note that cruise itineraries are subject to change without prior notice.
Please note that there are only 2 standard cabins for single use. If they are already booked it is possible to use a double standard cabin for an additional of US$1500 on our Single Standard price.
Shortie Wet Suits are available aboard. The rent of these wet suits is US$ 15 plus tax for 3- or 4-night itineraries and US$ 30 plus tax for 7-night itineraries. Wet Suits in different sizes, from Extra Large to Small and also child sizes are available. The shortie wet suits are very useful for guests who enjoy water activities -swimming and snorkeling. During the months when the water is cooler (May to December) they allow guests a longer stay in the water, and the rest of the year, the wet suits are also a protection from the sun (particularly the area of the back and shoulders).
Masks, breathing tubes and fins for snorkeling are also available aboard the vessels without extra cost for guests.
During the Introduction - Welcome briefing on board the Chief Naturalist will inform guests about the availability of the wetsuits for water activities: he is the person responsible, together with the Naturalist Guides, to deliver the wetsuits. It is their responsibility to be present when the guests are trying on the wetsuits and receive them.
Before the delivery of the wetsuits, guests must sign a form which makes them responsible for the equipment (both for the wetsuits and for the snorkeling equipment), stating the amount to be paid for rent and the amount to be paid in case of loss or damage.
Yampu only offers the Isabella II only as an add-on to our highlight packages. If booking alone, booking fee may apply.
