Overnight flight to Nairobi, Kenya's capital.

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where a car and driver will depart for House of Waine in Karen, a quiet, 11-bedroom property on 2.5 acres with decor that seamlessly blends colonial elegance with traditional Maasai colors and patterns.

After breakfast, transfer to Wilson airport to catch a scheduled flight to the Chyulus. Meet the private guide and driver (from Ol Donyo Wuas) and transfer back to the lodge with ample time to settle in before lunch. Located on the slopes below Chyulu National Park, halfway between Amboseli and Tsavo, Ol Donyo Wuas Lodge looks out on Mt. At Chyulu National Park, go on day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. It's common to see elephants by the lodge; two elephants (with 90 pound tusks) never stray far from Chyulu's waterholes. The park's lion and cheetah concentrations are on the rise, and its (endangered) black rhino populations are secure. Between game drives, try bush walks and wildlife tracking with Maasai trackers.
Bush breakfasts set on plains under an acacia tree and cooked on an open fire will make the morning.

Set off on day and night game drives searching out animals that haven’t been seen yet. There will also be the option to visit remote Maasai villages and to round that off with half or full-day horse safaris through some of the finest riding country anywhere.
Note: The rides are suitable for novice and advanced riders alike.

After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip to catch the scheduled Safarilink flight (8:30 am) back to Nairobi and connect to the Safarilink flight (10:20 am) to the Loisaba airstrip. Meet the private guide at the airstrip, who will go back to Ol Malo to settle in before lunch. 'Ol Malo' means “the place of the Greater Kudu,” and the land that surrounds the lodge lives up to its name.

Keep a look out for the Big Five and other wildlife on morning and evening game drives.

Set off on morning and evening game drives in safari vehicles, or try out a horseback safari, go out walking with expert guides or visit the furniture and rug workshops that generate income for the local communities.

After breakfast, trasnfer to the Lewa Airstrip to catch a scheduled Safarilink flight to The Masai Mara (11:50 am). Meet the private guide at the airstrip and transfer to Rekero Camp, to settle in before lunch. Rekero Camp is not far from where the Mara and Talek Rivers meet, and the banks of the two rivers tend to draw wildlife. The camp also looks out on two large pools (home to hippo and crocodile).

Morning and afternoon bush walks and game drives. If the season is right, Rekero's location tends to be prime for catching part of the "Great Migration." It's just ten minutes from the main wildebeest river crossings.

Another safari day with morning and afternoon game drives. In between game drives, there will be time for walks in the Mara Conservation area and cultural visits to the local Maasai and Ildorobo villages and the remote Ildorobo caves.

After breakfast, catch the scheduled Safarilink flight to Nairobi (11:00h). Upon arrival at Wilson Airport meet the private car. They'll be available for the rest of the day (until taking the flight home, from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport). Also choose from optional extensions in Kenya and Tanzania.
