Expose yourself to three of Kenya’s most distinct and most complementary parks, reserves and conservatories: Chyulu, a national park that overlooks Mount Kilimanjaro and archetypal, African savannas; Lewa Conservatory, known for its horseback safaris and its impressive view of Mount Kenya and the Masai Mara, home to abundant wildlife and vast, rolling plains.
After an overnight in the capital city of Nairobi, you’ll spend three nights on the slopes below Chyulu, a national park that looks out at Mt. Kilimanjaro and some of Kenya’s most expansive and archetypal savannas. You’ll search for the Big Five on morning and evening game drives and visit a remote, Maasai village. After that, you’ll head to Lewa Conservatory, not far from Mt. Kenya, where you’ll stay for the following three nights. Explore Lewa’s terrain on horseback, or visit workshops in local communities.
Last but not least, spend three nights in the Masai Mara game reserve, known for its abundant wildlife and vast plains. Professional Maasai guides and camp crew will take you on game drives and on tours of local Maasai and Ildorobo villages.

Safari in Chyulu National Park
At Chyulu National Park, go on day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles. It's common to see elephants by the lodge; two elephants (with 90 pound tusks) never stray far from Chyulu's waterholes. The park's lion and cheetah concentrations are on the rise, and its (endangered) black rhino populations are secure. Between game drives, try bush walks and wildlife tracking with Maasai trackers.
Bush breakfasts set on plains under an acacia tree and cooked on an open fire will make the morning.

The trip you set up for me was flawless.
The trip you set up for me was flawless. The guide met all my expectations. He was helpful and protective. I did learn that in Africa, time is a relative thing. I soon learned that when James told me we were one half hour from anywhere, I could count on an hour. I saw every major animal, but one, including the Black Rino, one of the most endangers specie in the Crater. I took 900 pictures. I can tell you without a doubt, that your people can take care of a person my age and should promote that fact. I loved Nxabega. However, I was prevented from going to my tent for a rest when a family of Elephants started eating the trees between the lunch area and my tent. They were all first rate camps, but Sopa was exceptional. If you wish me to fill out anything, let me know. One funny story. I needed to go to the bathroom. James asked me to wait while he drove about a half a mile to high ground, so he could watch out for animals while I attended to the problem behind his 4×4. As we get to about fifty yards from the place we planned to stop; three lions walked over the hill and past our vehicle. You would be surprised how fast the urge to go disappears under these circumstances.

I’ve been told more than once A++ so I’m thinking it was great. I’ll forward this to Paul. He’d love to tell you how much he enjoyed it. Apparently George Lucas among various celebrities have stayed at the Little Governors. He thought that was great.
