Tour Overview
An extended look at Southeast Asia’s paragons of urban progress. You’ll have a full five days to explore all aspects of what makes Kuala Lumpur and Singapore two of the most exciting cities in the world. Taste everything from the renowned Hawker Centers in Singapore to a steaming bowl of spicy Laksa Soup in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown. With senses (and stomachs) fully satiated, head over to Malaysian Borneo for a luxury immersion into the flora, fauna and traditional Iban culture that dominate the deep jungles of the island.
Singapore and Kuala Lumpur offer an unequaled experience for this pocket of Asia. On this tour, enjoy an orientation to the cities that will leave you in awe as you stroll past old world architectural splendors that stand among the ultra modern high rises. These are places where differences are encouraged, embraced and celebrated from all who live there.
The next leg of the tour starts and finishes in Kuching, the largest city in Malaysian Borneo. Kuching is peaceful, relaxed, and feels much more like a small town. Stroll the picturesque waterfront, explore the open air markets, or visit one of the small, free museums. From Kuching you will travel by car and boat to reach the luxurious Hilton Batang Ai Longhouse Resort. While at the resort you will have ample time to relax, enjoying the natural jungle scenery surrounding the resort. You will also explore the river on a long boat, and visit the Orangutan Center.

Though our time was short, our agent was able to include all our requested stops
A friend & I just completed a 10 day tour of Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand) that was compiled by Yampu Tours. Though our time was short, our agent was able to include all our requested stops while adding some very interesting side tours, all within our budget. Everything and everyone we encountered were great: guides, hotels, flights, train, food, tours, and service.

Our trip was fantastic!
Our trip was fantastic! We were met us at the airport in Saigon when we arrived and shuttled to the Hotel, the guide got us settled in and arranged the schedule with us for the next day. Each day we knew in advance what was planned and had enough time to relax too. Both guides (in the South and Central Regions) were very good. We also had a private driver in our van which was constantly stocked with cold bottled water and moist wipes for cooling off after every activity. In general the Hotels were all excellent and a couple were even better (Hoi-An and Victoria Chau-Doc). Both guides were flexible to our needs and very personable and accommodating. We had ample food and it was all great. On a couple of occasions the Guide in the Central Region even made adjustments to our Menu to make certain that we got better items (which we appreciated). We got Heavy rain on one day only and that was the day that we were driving back to Saigon from the Mekong delta, so we were safely ensconced in the Van. We saw a lot in our time there but we really have no complaints at all. The guides in country were excellent in keeping us on schedule without making us feel hurried. In Saigon the last night we even arranged for an extension of the Hotel room (for half a day) and a show that started at 8PM that evening. The guide arranged to pick our luggage up for us at the hotel and then come pick us up after the show at the Opera House and get us to the Airport in time for our flight back to Tokyo. If we go back again we will certainly be happy to use you again.
