The following days bring iconic train rides, starting with the world-famous Glacier Express transporting you to the elegant St. Moritz, offering breathtaking vistas along the Rhone Valley.
Board the Bernina Express on day three for an exhilarating ride with circular viaducts and tunnels, followed by a scenic bus journey to Ticino. The adventure reaches its pinnacle with the Gotthard Panorama Express, guiding you from the Mediterranean south to the heart of Switzerland, complete with a boat ride over the serene Lake Lucerne. Arrival in Zurich and take the train to Montreux. Upon arrival, transfer on your own to your hotel in Montreux (note, if the hotel is not walking distance from the train station, we can coordinate a transfer).
Zermatt lies at the foot of the Matterhorn and offers plenty of things to explore.
Enjoy a leisure day on your own and don't miss out on an excursion to the Gornergrat (optional tour).
Afterward, return to your hotel for your overnight stay in Zermatt.
