Tour Overview
This trip includes two of the must-do experiences in South Africa; a visit to Cape Town and a wildlife safari, followed by a Mozambique beach extension. The first leg of this trip includes a tour of the city, Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula and the Cape Winelands. Following Cape Town, enjoy a completely different South African experience as you go on safari in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. Finish your comprehensive African experience relaxing on the unexploited white sand beaches of Mozambique’s Benguerra Island.
In Cape Town, your days will be spent exploring the culture and history of the city and its surroundings. You will also engage in a full day tour of the Cape Peninsula, which involves stunning views, long golden beaches, the jackass penguin colony, and the Cape of Good Hope – Africa’s most southwestern point. Your final day will be spent in the winelands, north of Cape Town, touring the many vineyards and wineries that are making South African wines some of the most popular in the world.
Following Cape Town, you will fly to Nelspruit, where you will be transferred to your lodge within the private Sabi Sands Game Reserve, which is adjacent to Kruger National Park. For the next several days, you will engage in daily game drives of the area, which is arguably one of the premier private reserves in the country.
Only 11 kilometers in length and 5.5 kilometers in width, Benguerra is one of six islands that compose the Bazaruto Archipelago, which is also part of the Bazaruto National Park. With over 2000 species of fish and over a hundred species of coral, a world of magnificent colors await you beneath the surface of the clear waters. Native cashew nut trees, wild orange trees, and Mlala palms spot the island to add to the natural tropical atmosphere.

Exploring Sabi Sands
Another Safari day starting with morning game drive, followed by free time and late afternoon game drive. Trackers watch the road for spoor and prints and communicate with other vehicles to find where the best viewing of the day may be. In the evening, animals come out of the shade. Maybe even witness lions heading off on a hunt or elephants silhouetted before the vibrant colors of the sunset.

We really enjoyed all the hotels and the tours you recommended!
Thanks for checking in. We had an excellent time in Chile and Argentina. Everything worked out perfectly. It was very comforting to have someone meet us in each city and facilitate our tours, while allowing us plenty of time on our own. All of the transfers and pick-ups were perfectly on time and were with very kind and helpful guides and drivers. Our only problem was in Chicago on our way home when our flight was cancelled, but there was really nothing anyone could do at that point. Otherwise everything was great! We really enjoyed all the hotels and the tours you recommended and look forward to working with you again in the future. Thanks again!

The trip you set up for me was flawless.
The trip you set up for me was flawless. The guide met all my expectations. He was helpful and protective. I did learn that in Africa, time is a relative thing. I soon learned that when James told me we were one half hour from anywhere, I could count on an hour. I saw every major animal, but one, including the Black Rino, one of the most endangers specie in the Crater. I took 900 pictures. I can tell you without a doubt, that your people can take care of a person my age and should promote that fact. I loved Nxabega. However, I was prevented from going to my tent for a rest when a family of Elephants started eating the trees between the lunch area and my tent. They were all first rate camps, but Sopa was exceptional. If you wish me to fill out anything, let me know. One funny story. I needed to go to the bathroom. James asked me to wait while he drove about a half a mile to high ground, so he could watch out for animals while I attended to the problem behind his 4×4. As we get to about fifty yards from the place we planned to stop; three lions walked over the hill and past our vehicle. You would be surprised how fast the urge to go disappears under these circumstances.
